"Good at first but unhelpful after service"

We had two bathrooms and a cloakroom re-fiited and was impressed with the results. Unfortunately we have had problems with the cloakroom. Ungalvanised screws were used to secure the toilet but they rusted and rotted away. The toilet became loose and water leaked from the inflow which damaged the fitted panel behind the toilet. I'm quite happy to do the work myself. I called at Severn Vale to seek a replacement panel and met Mrs Lomax. She was very unhelpful and said that I would have to tell her who manufactured the panel. I explained that they fitted the system but she retorted that they keep no records. I showed her a photograph of the cloak room but she said she could not recognise the materials. I was told to find the original job sheet. It may well be that a replacement panel cannot be obtained but Mrs Lomax gave no impression at that she wanted to help; in fact she was very unhelpful and bordering on being rude.

Clearly I could never recommend using this company..
